Dreaming The Future?

Dreams are fascinating to me. They can be as real as this moment is right now to me or they can be just completely out there. Sometimes, they help you to get out pent up feelings from the day. Othertimes? They can tell the future. Mine have.

The odd thing is, no matter whether I’m seriously journaling and trying to study my dreams or not, they aren’t exact. I’ve had many instances of this. One was a story I told before on an old blog where I dreamed about moving back to a place I once lived in and seeing a door that wasn’t there at the time. Well, I did and there is. Another time, I dreamed a certain person died, only to find out shortly later another member of the family had passed. Recently, it happened again.

In the dream, my kitten had gotten out of the house and I had no idea where she was. I woke up pretty shaken and immediately went looking for her, giving plenty of petting when I did. I brushed it off as me just being paranoid. Strangely enough, a day or two later, someone I know lost their young cat in the same way. Needless to say, that was a little freaky and frustrating, cause I don’t always see enough details in a dream to actually do anything.
